Salesforce has announced the launch of Agentforce Sales in ChatGPT, a groundbreaking integration that transforms how sales teams interact with their data. This new application allows ChatGPT to access business context—such as customer portfolios, interaction history, and strategic priorities—to provide answers and recommendations based directly on CRM information.

Even with the most advanced AI, the true value emerges when it understands the unique context of each business. With Agentforce Sales, that knowledge is natively transferred to ChatGPT, bridging the gap between external intelligence and internal data.

CRM Goes Conversational

The application turns the CRM into a fully conversational experience. Sales teams can request information or execute actions simply by formulating requests in natural language, such as:

  • Identifying new potential customers.
  • Getting prioritization recommendations.
  • Checking the status of opportunities.
  • Generating strategic plans or account summaries.

Kris Billmaier, General Manager and Executive Vice President of Agentforce Sales at Salesforce, noted: "With the Agentforce Sales application in ChatGPT, we are incorporating Salesforce into the tools that salespeople already use. Beyond facilitating access to information, Agentforce Sales acts autonomously to streamline processes. Salespeople can delegate routine tasks such as:

  • Drafting action plans.

This allows teams to focus on higher-value opportunities, significantly reducing time spent on administrative tasks.

Security and Availability

The open beta version of Agentforce Sales in ChatGPT is now available for Agentforce for Sales Add-on and Agentforce 1 Edition customers. Eligible companies can access the application through the ChatGPT app directory.
