Over 50% of Salesforce Growth in Iberia Driven by AI Agents

Salesforce Iberia reports that more than half of its growth is now driven by AI agent projects, signaling a massive shift in the enterprise technology landscape.

Over 50% of Salesforce Growth in Iberia Driven by AI Agents

Salesforce was the pioneer of CRM in the cloud, mobile sales tools, and predictive AI. Now, the tech giant is leading a new revolution: Agentic AI. According to Enrique Polo de Lara, General Director of Salesforce for Iberia, more than half of the company's growth in the region now comes from projects related to its AI agent technology.

This shift marks a significant transformation in how businesses operate. "This is going to transform all industries just as software did in the past. In fact, the new AI is going to transform software itself," said Polo de Lara.

The Era of "Agentification"

The adoption of AI agents is accelerating rapidly in Spain. Currently, 150 companies are in the process of "agentification", with 30 projects already in production and another 10 in the planning stages. Major companies like Telefónica, Caixabank, Pikolín, Aedas Homes, and Movistar Plus+ have already begun transforming their customer relationships using Salesforce's agent technology.

Globally, more than 12,500 companies are using Salesforce's AI agents, a technology launched just two years ago. The company aims for $60 billion in revenue by 2030, driven largely by this new wave of innovation.

Economic Impact and Efficiency

The impact of this "decade of agents" goes beyond revenue. A study by IDC for Salesforce projects that by 2030, the adoption of AI agents will contribute $154 billion to Spain's economy, representing 8% of the national GDP.

More importantly, it promises a massive boost in productivity. The study estimates that AI agents will save Spanish employees 35% of their daily work time (40% globally) by taking over repetitive tasks. By 2030, agentic AI systems are expected to assume 22% of the weekly workload, allowing humans to focus on higher-value strategic tasks.

Agentforce 360: A Unified Platform

Salesforce's answer to this demand is Agentforce 360, a comprehensive platform that allows companies to build and deploy autonomous agents. Recent evolutions include:

  • Multimodal Capabilities: Understanding complex documents, voice instructions, and natural conversation.
  • Agent Fabric: Improved orchestration of agents using MuleSoft technology, even managing agents from different providers.
  • Data 360: Enhanced data cloud capabilities to ensure agents reason with secure and trusted data.

As Salesforce pushes this vision forward, its partner ecosystem is also evolving. In Spain alone, there are now over 6.800 certifications in Agentforce, signaling that the entire industry is gearing up for an agent-first future.
